Permission to commercial purchase and sale of weapons and ammunition

Has the permission to acquire and hold Guns and ammunition for the weapons, Barrels, Actions and
Shotgun-actions for the weapons, crossbows, slingshots, and sharp weapons or Knifes with blades exceeding 12 cm. The permission is given with regard to resale.
The permission does not include purchase of shotguns with a barrel lenght below 55 cm, pistols, guns, fully automatic rifles, semi-automatic rifles which cannot be used for hunting or other similar dangerous firearms together with import from abroad.
In such case an individual permission is required.
The permission only includes purchase from Danish manufacturers, importers or dealers/distributors of weapons and ammunition. However, Private people who are able to show legal possession, may sell rifles, shotguns with a barrellengh below 55 cm, firearms with model- or production year not later than 1890, Danish pistol model 1910 and model 1910/21, maritime guns model 1891, Schouboe-pistol model 1903 and Danish military rifles 1867/93, 1867/96 and 1867/97 and sharp weapons or pointed weapons with blades exceeding 12 cm together with ammunition.
The following conditions must be observed when receiving the permission.
1. The police has to be informed of any staff induction/resignation in the business.
2. The tradesman has to ensure that all personnel aged below 18 years solely take care of execution of weapons etc. under supervision of the owner of the permission or of personnel aged over 18 years .
3. By sale of weapons and ammunition a permission from the police is required and the permission to buy must be duly signed and returned to the police at once.
4. By sale of ammunition without a permission to buy, this has to be stated on the firearms certificate of the buyer.
5. All purchase and selling of firearms, barrels, actions and shotgun-actions for firearms together with crossbows and slingshots have to be listed in a weapon register approved by the police. The buying- and selling date, type of weapon, brand, model manufacturing number and calibre (if there is any), the identity of the buying- and selling person, the journal number of the purchase permission or game licence together with the kind of shown identity with a picture, have to be mentioned in the register. If there has not been shown an identity card with a picture the police authority who has approved and the date of approval stated have to be stated too.
6. Weapon registers and invoices of the purchased and sold weapons etc. have to be kept for at least 5 years. Invoices have to be handed over to the police at request (possibly copies).
7. At any time and without a court order the police have access to go through the books and control the stock.
8. WEAPONS, WEAPON PARTS AND AMMUNITION HAVE TO BE STORED AS MENTIONED IN THE WEAPON PROCLAMATION ARTICLE NO. 16.
9. IN CASE OF WEAPONS BEING LOST ETC. THE POLICE HAVE TO BE INFORMED IMMEDIATELY.
10. THE PERMISSION IS PERSONAL AND CAN BE RECALLED AT ANY TIME. IT HAS TO BE RETURNED WHEN THE PERIOD OF VALIDITY EXPIRES, OR IF THE OWNER IS NO LONGER EMPLOYED AT THE BUSINESS OR IF THE BUSINESS STOPS.
In the above mentioned cases the police will decide how to deal with the weapon register.
