Grip Pod Systems (G.P.S.) is currently manufacturing and marketing an "Enhanced Target Acquisition System (E.T.A.S.), called, appropriately enough, the Grip Pod System (G.P.S.).
The G.P.S. is a combination vertical foregrip and bipod system that will allow an operator to "go from a CQB position to prone, and have a stable base for aimed firing in place before hitting the ground." The G.P.S. has been receiving some pretty big kudos by some very knowledgable gun people. It can even be seen on FNH USA's SCAR-L (SCAR-Light) and SCAR-H (SCAR-Heavy) prototype/demonstrator weapons. U.S. Navy SEAL operators (Naval SPECWAR operators), U.S. Army Special Forces operators, FBI H.R.T. (Hostage Rescue Team). The company also claims that the Grip Pod System is in use with other "unmentionable" alphabet soup agencies.
