Remington Enters Premium Over & Under Shotgun Market
with the Premier® Line – Available in 12, 20 and 28 Gauge
Madison, North Carolina – The new Premier Over & Under shotgun family combines the dependability and reliability that you have come to expect from Remington with fine Italian craftsmanship, balance and smooth handling. These solidly-built break actions will be available in three versions for 2006 – a 12-gauge Premier STS® Competition designed for the clay shooter and the Premier Field and Premier Upland Grades in 12, 20 and 28-gauges, ideal for the serious bird and small game hunter. Each gun features a low-profile, machined steel receiver; polished blued barrels; premium walnut stock and traditional Schnabeled fore-end, both with detailed cut checkering. The Premier Over & Under shotguns come with a protective hard case.
Premier STS Competition | This 12-gauge version is available with a 28 or 30-inch target-style barrel featuring a wide 10mm rib and ivory front and steel mid beads. Vented barrel filets aid in dissipation of the heat associated with high-volume shooting. The walnut stock with right-hand palm swell and modified Schnabel fore-end feature a handsome gloss finish. The overbored barrels (0.735 inch diameter) come equipped with five custom ProBore™ Extended Choke tubes (Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Light Modified, Modified and Full) for optimum patterns. The barrel selector is conveniently located on the tang safety. Other features that set this 12-gauge apart from the competition include stylish engraving; protective Titanium PVD (Physical Vapor Disposition) coating on the receiver; script “R” logo on the bottom of the receiver; and distinctive gold trigger. Suggested retail price: $2240
Premier Field Grade | Available in 12, 20 and 28-gauge with choice of 26 or 28-inch barrels. These field versions feature a traditional vent barrel with 7mm rib, ivory front and steel mid beads as well as solid barrel filets, making this over & under right at home in any field setting. The high-quality walnut stock and hunting Schnabel fore-end feature a satin finish. Adding to the appeal of this attractive field gun is the nickel-finished receiver with game scene engraving. All versions feature flush ProBore Choke Tubes. Suggested retail price: $1840-1880
Premier Upland Grade | The upland version boasts the same features and gauge availability as the Field Grade. With classic enhancements, such as oil-finished wood stock and fore-end and complimenting case-colored receiver, accented with gold game scene engraving, the Premier Upland will be the envy of every bird hunter. Suggested retail price: $1920-1960
