Indiana - The Indiana Natural Resources Commission is putting a stop to so-called "canned" deer hunts.
The new rules, which could take effect in about two months, would stop deer hunting in fenced-in areas.
The Department of Natural Resources sought the ban after determining the hunts were not allowed under Indiana law.
Officials say at least a dozen fenced hunting preserves are estimated to exist in Indiana.
