Panther Arms - Kima - 20-12-2006 DPMS/Panther Arms DPMS is introducing a rifle for long-range competition shooters and big-game hunters. The LR-260LWH chambered in .260 Remington features a 4140 chrome-moly steel 18" heavy barrel with 1:8" twist and matte black Slim Line Compensator. The upper receiver is extruded 6066-T1 aluminum and features a Picatinny rail. The lower assembly features a matte-black finish, milled 6061-T6 aluminum lower receiver, semiauto trigger and integral triggerguard. It has a lightweight, fixed, skeletonized A2 stock. Also new from DPMS is the LR-TAC20, a 20" rifle chambered for the .308 Winchester. The LR-TAC20 features a milled 6061-T6 aluminum lower receiver, thick-walled, extruded A3-style upper with detachable carrying handle, slim-line four-rail free-float tube and a Panther Flash Hider. Additional features include an A2 front-sight assembly, A2 Black Zytel Mil Spec buttstock with trap-door assembly and hard-coat anodizing.
