Went for a drive.. - Eric A - 05-03-2007 Nice cold but sunny afternoon so I took my newly re barreled CZ 527 i .17 Ackley Hornet out for a little Crow og Pidgeon shoot. I have not used this riffel other than shooting targets and scope sight in. Pac Nor barrel company removed the factory 22 Hornet barrel og installed a varmint barrel i stainless stål i .17 AH.. This riffel has mounted a Nikon 6x18 x 40mm scope with target dot reticle and I am using Hornady .20gr v max bullets with Accurate Arms 1680 krudt. Her is 1st billede ...A Crow who has become part of last fall's apple crop..shot him i old abandoned apple orchard.[] next jeg stopped by a friend's dairy farm og jeg have permission til shoot any og every pidgeon I se. her is silo's where the pidgeons like to roost...hæhæ[}][8D] Jeg shot 10 birds..5 are still op on the corn silos. look at the damage to this pidgeon from that little 20gr v max bullet maybe it hit some bone..aye I like to shoot and these little calibres keep me shooting when big game seasons are closed and big game riffels become "gunsafe queens" for most of the year..[] Mvh..Eric Went for a drive.. - Takleberry - 05-03-2007 Very nice pics Eric [] And a very nice looking rig [:p] Seems like that little .17 AH is "Strong Medicine" for Mr. Crow and Mr. Pigeon [] By the way Eric, could I talk you in to do a little "review" on those Nikon scopes [?].
