Ruger Introduces Polymer Magazines for the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is proud to announce new polymer magazines are available for the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle. Made from durable, glass-filled nylon, these rugged, smooth-feeding magazines are available in ten-round, five-round, and three-round capacities.

"Consumers have made many requests for lower cost Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle magazines," said Mark Gurney, Ruger's Long Gun Product Manager. "These new Ruger magazines are durable, easy to load, feed smoothly, and are less than half the price of original equipment steel magazines. The three-round magazine is near flush-fitting and is a great accessory to have when hunting with the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle rifle," he concluded.

Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle polymer magazines can be readily disassembled and assembled for cleaning. All components are molded from glass-filled nylon (except the stainless steel spring), and the assembled magazines have been function and drop tested at extreme temperatures ranging from -30° F to +140° F. A snap-on dust cover, which not only keeps the internals of the magazine clean, but also allows long-term storage of a loaded magazine without risk of deforming the magazine feed lips, is included with each magazine.

Det er jeg også sikker på at jeg vil, men hvis man skal sælge denne riffel i DK, så skal den vel koste en god tusse under en T3?

Nu kender jeg ikke til det aftræk, men umiddelbart ser det jo ikke helt tosset ud. Så ham faktisk en riffel som "Out of the box" kan skyde helt habilt, præcis som det er tilfældet med en T3. Men hvis ikke prisen kommer til at ligge under konkurenten, så kommer de ikke til at lange mange over kassen. Men hvis den bliver prissat ordentligt, så syntes jeg det ser rigtigt spændende ud.

The 100% American-made Ruger American Rimfire™ builds on the enormous success of the centerfire Ruger American Rifle®. With many of the standard Ruger American Rifle® features, this new line also combines several design innovations from the popular 10/22® rimfire rifle. This combination, along with the rifle's adaptability, will appeal to all bolt-action enthusiasts - young or old, novice or experienced. The new line consists of four models - full-sized (22" barrel/13.75" length of pull) and compact (18"/12.5" length of pull) models, both of which are available in either .22 LR or .22 Magnum.

"The new American Rimfire series really ups the ante for performance in rimfire rifles," remarked Mike Fifer, President and CEO. "With proven technologies and features from the centerfire Ruger American Rifle®, the bolt-action rimfire models are sure to deliver accuracy, durability and value to consumers," he concluded.

Each model in the line includes two interchangeable stock modules that provide comb height options for scope or iron sight use.
