The advantage of the 8x Peregrine XP is clear; a wide (7.4") viewing field offers quick location of birds, wildlife and viewing subjects. The 8x magnification also results in a larger exit pupil which can make the view appear slightly brighter, especially if using the binocular with eyeglasses. The rich colors are complimented by the large, bright 44mm lenses.

Peregrine XP 10 x 44

Higher magnification usually means a narrow field of view. With the 10x44 Peregrine, we've managed to keep the viewing field width very high with an angle of 6.25°. The wide field, combined with 10x magnification makes the 10x44 XP the ideal binocular for up-close discovery. The 44mm lenses will deliver more light to your eyes than similar sized 10x40 or 10x42 models.

New 8x30 and 12x40 Binoculars have been introduced by Steiner Germany as additions to their Predator Pro Line. Both of these binoculars incorporate Steiner’s latest “C5” optics developed by their engineers in Germany. This new C5 technology is designed to deliver brighter images with high contrast. This performance makes them highly effective in a difficult hunting environment where game animals are in a heavy wooded environment.

The new Predator Pro binoculars feature Steiner’s unique “Sports Auto-Focus” system which allows the user to make a one-time, focus adjustment to the eyepieces, and through a high depth of field, view objects in sharp focus from near distance to infinity. Both 8x30 and 12x40 Predator Pro binoculars also come with contoured, wrap-around eyecups which block side light and improve the viewing experience.

Both binoculars come with a new, NBR Long-Life Armoring and updated trim for protection and extended use in the most demanding conditions.

The new Predator Pro Binoculars will be available in early 2008 and will include a padded nylon case with strap, attached objective lens caps, rain guard and neck strap.

Using entirely new optical system formulations, new, fully multi-coated optics and a completely new shock and waterproof housing, the new Predator C5 in 10x42 and 12x42 deliver a new standard of performance in a hunting binocular that includes a higher degree of light transmission, image resolution and color contrast than previously available.

New mirror technology combines silver mirror coatings with selected dielectric coating applications to the C5's roof prism phase corrected Interference Mirrors. This new technology delivers greater light transmission, image contrast and better pinpoint resolution than ever before. The new Predator comes with a new, ergonomically designed housing and a special rubberized, armor covering that feels great in the hand and helps protect the binocular from the harshest of hunting conditions. Steiner Binoculars Night Hunter

Steiner introduces the XP Night Hunter binoculars, with NANO Protection on extra-large objective and ocular lenses and Steiner HD Optic coating technology. Binoculars include roof prisms, dialectic mirror coatings and HD-XP lens technology, and the bodies of the binoculars are pressure-sealed and shock- and waterproof. This new focusing system consists of two parts. The first is Steiner’s Sports Autofocus System that is already a popular feature in several hunting, nature, and military binoculars made by Steiner. The Sports Autofocus System feature makes objects sharp without the need to manually refocus from 30 yards to infinity. When the object of observation can barely be seen and is difficult to focus on, this timesaving feature is critical to be able to clearly view the object.

The second feature of the new ULTRA-SHARP focus adds a fingertip adjustment.
