Peregrine XP 8 x 44

The advantage of the 8x Peregrine XP is clear; a wide (7.4") viewing field offers quick location of birds, wildlife and viewing subjects. The 8x magnification also results in a larger exit pupil which can make the view appear slightly brighter, especially if using the binocular with eyeglasses. The rich colors are complimented by the large, bright 44mm lenses.

Peregrine XP 10 x 44

Higher magnification usually means a narrow field of view. With the 10x44 Peregrine, we've managed to keep the viewing field width very high with an angle of 6.25°. The wide field, combined with 10x magnification makes the 10x44 XP the ideal binocular for up-close discovery. The 44mm lenses will deliver more light to your eyes than similar sized 10x40 or 10x42 models.

New 8x30 and 12x40 Binoculars have been introduced by Steiner Germany as additions to their Predator Pro Line. Both of these binoculars incorporate Steiner’s latest “C5” optics developed by their engineers in Germany. This new C5 technology is designed to deliver brighter images with high contrast. This performance makes them highly effective in a difficult hunting environment where game animals are in a heavy wooded environment.

The new Predator Pro binoculars feature Steiner’s unique “Sports Auto-Focus” system which allows the user to make a one-time, focus adjustment to the eyepieces, and through a high depth of field, view objects in sharp focus from near distance to infinity. Both 8x30 and 12x40 Predator Pro binoculars also come with contoured, wrap-around eyecups which block side light and improve the viewing experience.

Both binoculars come with a new, NBR Long-Life Armoring and updated trim for protection and extended use in the most demanding conditions.

The new Predator Pro Binoculars will be available in early 2008 and will include a padded nylon case with strap, attached objective lens caps, rain guard and neck strap.

Steiner Binoculars, Germany, is now offering new 8x30 Porro Prism and 8x22 and 10x26 Pocket, Roof Prism Binoculars in their Entry Level, Safari Pro Line. Steiner, the German Manufacturer of the legendary Predator Binoculars, has developed an entirely new C5 Series of Predator Binoculars for American Big Game Hunters. Using entirely new optical system formulations, new, fully multi-coated optics and a completely new shock and waterproof housing, the new Predator C5 in 10x42 and 12x42 deliver a new standard of performance in a hunting binocular that includes a higher degree of light transmission, image resolution and color contrast than previously available.

New mirror technology combines silver mirror coatings with selected dielectric coating applications to the C5's roof prism phase corrected Interference Mirrors. This new technology delivers greater light transmission, image contrast and better pinpoint resolution than ever before. The new Predator comes with a new, ergonomically designed housing and a special rubberized, armor covering that feels great in the hand and helps protect the binocular from the harshest of hunting conditions. The unique "pistol-grip" checkered rubber surface gives them a secure comfortable grip, even when wet. A tripod mount is located on the front center axis of the binocular, and with the optional adapter (Item 772); the binocular will mount on any standard tripod.

Steiner, the German Manufacturer of Military and LE Binoculars, has developed a compact Tactical & Military Binocular incorporating the newly developed SUMR targeting, reticle system. Using new optical system formulations, new, fully multi-coated optics and a completely new shock and waterproof housing, the Steiner 10x42 R Tactical Binocular delivers a new standard of performance in a tactical binocular that includes a new Mil Reticle Targeting System allowing faster and more accurate communications between the spotter/observer and weapons delivery personnel.

By building this new Universal Reticle system into a 10x42 Roof Prism Binocular, Steiner is able to offer a smaller, rugged and light weight binocular in a power that matches the favored magnification used in many of the newer 10x Military rifle scopes used by Army, Air and Marine SOF and LE Forces on rifles in calibers from 5.56 thru .50 BMG and beyond. The reticle is based on the standard Mil System. The binocular reticle are truly a multi-role tool since the reticule’s mil graduations combine standard 5 & 10 mil increments that reduce down to single and split mils towards the center of the view area enabling the user to effectively accomplish observations, coordinate direct and indirect small arms fire.
