I just make total renovation of some very old airgun, everything is in bath now...I wonder about the time of bath;longer time>better coat?? And how to treat the surface after? Some oil or something like that? One shot one kill....no luck, just skill

Anyway...40 minutes is enough After a hot bath I washed all with the water and wiped dry and then covered with Ballistol. My first blackening looks not so bad ...i think

In the meantime comes checkering. I decided to 20 LPI...a bit difficult but not impossible.

what kind of blacking product have you used?

Its called "HOTOX" I bought it in Poland. It looks just like white crystals, and to each kilogram of them must be 1 liter of water
Edit; I just checked; parkerizing is an electrochemical method of steel protection...very far away from my ability[] One shot one kill....no luck, just skill
