Trophy Bonded Bear Claw / CCI
#1
Trophy Bonded Bear Claw® Bullet Line Extension

For 2005, Trophy Bonded answers customer requests for more Trophy Bonded Bear Claw component bullets.
There’s now a 150 grain Bear Claw, offering higher velocity than the heavier 30-caliber Bear Claw versions. It’s also excellent for smaller 30 caliber cases like the 308 Winchester and 300 Savage.
A new .358 inch 225 grain Bear Claw fulfills the requests from 35 Whelen reloaders for an extended-capability bullet. The weight allows excellent velocity, and the tough Bear Claw construction makes the 35 Whelen suitable for any North American game.
Both new bullets feature all the great technology that has earned the Bear Claw bullet its reputation as being one of the most respected big game bullets in the world.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Precision-formed jacket with solid copper base
— Base halts roll-back before it exceeds the critical point for deep penetration on large game
• Fusion-bonded lead core
— Retained weights routinely exceed 95 percent
— Large frontal area after expansion
• Weight forward after full expansion
— Mushroomed bullets stay nose-first for straight-line penetration

CCI Introduces 17 Mach 2

The world of 17 caliber rimfire shooting fun just got better. The 17 Mach 2 is a 22 LR CCI Stinger® case necked down to hold a 17 caliber bullet. We load a super-accurate 17-grain polymer-tipped bullet, and drive it 60 percent faster than a 22 Long Rifle 40-grain hollow-point. The loaded cartridge is no longer than a 22 Long rifle, greatly expanding the gun actions that can accommodate 17 caliber rimfire cartridges.
Accuracy routinely exceeds that of the best 22 LR Match ammo, and the extra velocity makes the Mach a flatshooting ittle powerhouse. The Mach 2 bullet has only one-third the mid-range rise of a 22 Long Rifle when sighted for 100 yards.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Bottlenecked Stinger case
— Plenty of powder capacity for great performance
• 2010 ft/sec nominal muzzle velocity

CCI Introduces New MIL-SPEC Rifle Primers

CCI previously offered rifle primers featuring military sensitivity for reloading military duplication ammo. For 2005, those are replaced with the new CCI MIL-SPEC Primers. These new primers meet EVERY requirement of MIL-P- 46610E, the technical data package that defines the primers the U.S. specifies for all its service ammo. Finish, raw materials, anvil shape, and all other aspects of the U.S. M34 and M41 primers are matched detail for detail.
Of course, we also matched the sensitivity specifications. MIL-SPEC primers are recommended for ammunition used in semi-automatic military-style firearms where these primers, in conjunction with proper loading techniques, contribute to reducing the chance of a slam-firing event. CCI MIL-SPEC primers are Magnum primers for igniting military ball powders and use the same reloading data as CCI 250 and 450 Magnum primers.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Built to MIL-P-46610E military specifications
— Exact match of current U.S. service rifle primers in every detail
• Mil-spec sensitivity
— Contributes to reduction of slam-fire events
• Mil-spec priming compound
— Reliable ignition of mil-spec ball propellants under tough conditions
• Natural finish brass cup
— Cosmetically matches service ammo

0077 No. 34 MIL-SPEC Large Rifle Primer (1000 per box; 5000 per case)
0076 No. 41 MIL-SPEC Small Rifle Primer (1000 per box; 5000 per case)
