Hunt supporter 'punched' film man
A Devon hunting supporter has appeared in court charged with attacking a protester on Exmoor.
Barnstaple magistrates heard that Christopher Marles punched and kicked Kevin Hill, a member of the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

Mr Marles, 44, of Farringdon near Exeter, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.

No plea was entered during the hearing and the case was adjourned until 5 January next year.

The alleged attack happened during a meet of the Devon and Somerset Staghounds on 27 October.

Mr Hill had been filming the hunt at Withypool on Exmoor and later needed six stitches on his face.
