Beretta introduces the revolutionary 90-TWO pistol with more individualized performance
ACCOKEEK, MD—June 1, 2006—The hotly anticipated Beretta 90-TWO semiautomatic pistol, the latest in Beretta’s legendary 92/96 Series, will be available to consumers this summer with major improvements to form, fit and function that allow for more “Individualized Performance”. This is the 92 Series’ first complete redesign since it was introduced to the law enforcement and military community over 20 years ago.
Featuring new magazines with higher capacity in 9mm and .40 S&W calibers and an internal buffer to reduce recoil, the ergonomically enhanced 90-TWO showcases a brand new look and design with innovative lines and rounded contours that permit comfortable carry and a smooth and rapid extraction from the holster.
One of the 90-TWO’s most notable improvements is a technopolymer, removable, single-piece wraparound grip available in two sizes (standard and slim) to individually fit the hand of each shooter while maintaining accuracy and reliability. A new front accessory rail with removable cover was also added.
The aluminum frame pistol, with Beretta’s exclusive Bruniton non-reflective matte black finish, offers a short recoil, delayed blowback system that continues to yield faster cycle times and deliver exceptional accuracy and reliability. The new internal recoil buffer increases service life, while maintaining superior accuracy.
