Infinity Version 6

Long awaited next version of our world famous Infinity ballistic software has arrived! While making Infinity fully compatible with the newly released Windows Vista, we have also taken the opportunity to improve some functions and add a few new features.

Improved Atmospherics – revised to improve atmosphere model and add improved altitude estimates with atmospheric conditions. Revised print formats – MOA (clicks) column and field print added for more “field friendly” print outs. Tabular formats added for tactical shooters in MOA and MIL including uphill and downhill calculations. Profiled Winds – allows for 5 separate wind zone conditions downrange for deflection/drop/rise calculations. Twist rate - calculates recommended twist rate for each bullet/muzzle velocity/stability factor. Recoil – calculates recoil momentum and energy for each gun weight/bullet weight/powder charge weight/muzzle velocity combination.

System requirements: Windows Vista, XP or Win2K, 800x600 resolution (1024x768 recommended), IE 6 or higher, Dot Net Framework 2.0 or higher (included in install), 60MB hard drive space

Suggested retail price of the Infinity version 6 is $39.95 and the Infinity Suite version 6 (also includes the entire 5th Edition Rifle and Handgun Reloading Data manual integrated into the CD) has a suggest retail price of $59.95.

6mm (.243” diameter) 95 gr. HPBT MatchKing

Sierra is pleased to introduce the newest member of our 6mm MatchKing line; the 6mm 95 grain HPBT. This bullet was designed to fill the need for a lighter weight alternative to the Sierra 6mm 107 MatchKing. Sierra expects this bullet to be a popular choice for our across the course and long range target customers. Sierra built this bullet off our ever popular 6mm 107 HPBT MatchKing design with a long ogive, small meplat and improved boat tail to preserve downrange efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce wind-drift. Sierra recommends a 9” twist rate or faster.

These bullets will be available in boxes of 100 bullets (stock #1537) with a 2008 suggested retail of $30.33 per box or in boxes of 500 bullets (stock #1537C) with a suggested 2008 retail of $143.40 per box.


.22 Caliber (.224 diameter) 77 gr. HPBT MatchKing Cannelured

Sierra is pleased to announce it will now offer its famous .22 caliber 77 grain HPBT MatchKing in a cannelured version for the civilian market. Due to the fact that the 77 grain bullet is the heaviest magazine length tolerant .22 caliber bullet Sierra makes, it is a big favorite with the AR crowd. For years many have requested that we sell a cannelured version for civilian use. Sierra is happy to have made that a reality for them.

These bullets will be available in boxes of 50 bullets (stock #1478) with a 2008 suggested retail of $18.00 per box or in boxes of 500 bullets (stock #9378) with a suggested 2008 retail of $136.54 per box.

.30 Caliber (.308 diameter) 135 gr. HPBT MatchKing

Sierra is pleased to introduce the newest member of our 30 caliber MatchKing line; the 30 caliber 135 grain HPBT. This bullet was designed to fill the need for a lighter-weight / low recoil 30 caliber bullet for smaller capacity cartridges. Sierra expects this bullet to be a popular choice for our across the course, handgun silhouette and 100-200 yard benchrest customers.

These bullets will be available in boxes of 100 bullets (stock #2123) with a 2008 suggested retail of $35.30 per box or in boxes of 500 bullets (stock #2123C) with a suggested 2008 retail of $164.49 per box.

180 grain HPBT MatchKing
Sierra is pleased to introduce the newest member of our MatchKing line; the 7mm 180 grain HPBT MatchKing. In response to requests from top level F-Class shooters, Sierra has designed an all new MatchKing to provide a higher weight/higher B.C. alternative in our 7mm line. This bullet's 12 caliber secant ogive and lengthened boat tail make it the perfect choice for the discerning 7mm long range shooter. Sierra recommends at least a 1 in 8 inch twist barrel to stabilize this bullet.

70 grain & 90 grain BlitzKing
Sierra is pleased to introduce the 2 newest members of our BlitzKing line; the 25 caliber 70 (flat base) & 90 (boat tail) grain BlitzKing bullets. Created to fill the demand for the longer range varmint crowd taking over where our current .20-6mm BlitzKings leave off. 30 Caliber (.308 diameter)
125 grain HP MatchKing (Part # 2121)
Sierra is pleased to introduce the newest member of our MatchKing line; the 30 caliber 125 grain HP MatchKing. This uniquely designed flat based bullet was designed in conjunction with AAC (Advanced Armament Corporation) and Remington Arms for the new .300 AAC Blackout cartridge designed for the AR platform. This bullet has also proven to be exceptionally accurate in bolt action rifles and other .30 caliber AR chamberings. The jacket was specifically designed to handle velocities ranging up through common .30 caliber midlevel cartridges. The #2121 will be available for sale in Jan 2012
