Browning Introduces the Maxus Autoloading Shotgun
The new Maxus autoloading shotgun was introduced at the annual Browning sales meeting on October 10, 2008 in Ogden, Utah. Browning sales reps were able to shoot the Maxus and see for themselves its impressive list of features and innovations. Browning's product experts and engineers showed point-by-point how the Maxus sets a new standard in the industry as “The Most Reliable Autoloading Shotgun the World Has Ever Known.”

The sales meeting was only the beginning of the Maxus roll-out. The official announcement of the Maxus to the public is actually scheduled for later this fall.
At the time of the sales meeting nearly 2,500 Browning dealers across the country received an introductory mailing announcing the Maxus. In the mailing they also learned about the entire lineup of new Browning shotguns, rifles, pistols, technical clothing, gun safes, knives, lights, accessories and much, much more. Each dealer also received a DVD of the Maxus video. With the encouragement of the Browning sales representatives, the video was allowed to be posted on YouTube. The sales reps told their friends about the video, and they told their friends, and soon word was spread on Facebook . . . since then thousands and thousands have viewed the video.
