SAUER is building on the great success of its Sterling line of shotguns. In addition to offering the popular Select and Elegance models with a longer 76-cm barrel, which is sure to delight duck hunters, SAUER will introduce a new Sterling series at IWA 2007 that is guaranteed to exceed all expectations.
The new Sterling Parcours is unparalleled both on the hunting ground and in the shooting stand. It is perfectly balanced, has an excellent trigger and first-class sporting stock, and is available in 71, 76 and 81 cm barrel lengths.
Both the new Sterling Trap and Sterling Skeet feature a stock that is designed specifically for clay pigeon shooting, as well as precision barrels for consummate shooting performance.
Topping the new series is the Sterling Exquisite, a premium hunting gun that embodies technical perfection in an elegant design. The accuracy in engineering and performance is perfectly complemented by the sleek elegant sighting rib and exquisite Avantgarde Grande walnut wood grade. Long side plates with hidden screws and masterful engravings complete the gun’s distinctive appearance. The Sterling Exquisite is available in two calibres, 12/76 and 20/76, the latter being most popular among connoisseurs.

New S 202 Team SAUER XT


Maximum Performance, Minimum Price

The Team SAUER launched in 2006 could be nicknamed “Best of SAUER” as it reflects the experience of all SAUER partners worldwide. The Team SAUER attracted widespread attention last year for its successful combining of advanced technology, brilliant design and favourable price. The rifle is based on the S 202 Classic and offers legendary precision due to the 56-cm barrel (Magnum 60 cm) and 19-mm Heavy Medium or Magnum barrel contour. A fluted barrel adds visual appeal and improves the balance of last year’s rifle introduction.
The SAUER Team decided to build on this success in 2007 with a new Team SAUER model. The new S 202 XT seamlessly follows the Team SAUER and is tailored for hunters who put their equipment to extreme use in challenging hunting grounds around the world.
Based on the Heavy Medium and Heavy Magnum fluted barrels, this new XT Team rifle features a greatly functional MagLock magazine lock, high-contrast Forest sights and a scuffproof synthetic stock. The “Team SAUER XT” is also supplied with an aluminium receiver and integral Weaver rail.
SAUER launches the XT in a package to gear it up for extreme demands including a high-quality rifle bag made of Cordura and a SAUER telescope shooting stick. As SAUER is the European importer of Katz knives, the package is completed by the sturdy BK-100 knife featuring a fixed XT-70 blade and a kraton grip. As with the original Team SAUER – which is still available – the new package is extremely low-priced.
The new Team SAUER S 202 XT is now available through authorized dealers.

NEW: First German Manufacturer with Soft Touch

Together with the new models S 202 Yukon and S 202 Polar SAUER presented on the IWA-show 2009 another innovation: As the first German manufacturer of hunting rifles SAUER offers a special polymer stock-coating which is called “Soft Touch”. This cover is extremely reliable and tough, and even a two and a half month test with a professional hunter who searchs after wounded animals in the northern part of Germany, does not show any damages on the stock. This kind of coating brings you also the best grip on polymer stocks even in rain, frost and under high temperature conditions. Beyond that, the modular system of the SAUER 202 offers you unknown possibilities. In hard weather or before a wildernis hunting trip you can substitute very easily your two-piece high fancy walnut stock for our polymer stock in the colours Black, Realtree AP HD® oder Realtree AP HD®
