For You "Karl111"!!
Based on my experiences with the Sauer 202 rifles i have handloaded for, all i can say is this: I my opinion the money could be spent much more wisely on a number of other rifles. (None mentioned, none forgotten)
All the Sauer 202 rifles I have handloaded for either had, or developed nasty faults in the trigger mechanism, causing unwanted and potentially dangerous discharges of the rifles.
This is a problem that has been known for years.
4 out of 5 the Sauer 202 rifles I made ammo for, were NOT in any way the "precision weapon" its price suggests.
They were not really accurate by modern standards, even with carefully worked up handloads. Again, I would expect at least an accuracy level of 1 - 1,5 inches at 100 m Most of the Sauer 202's i tested were not able to shoot less than 2" groups with factory hunting Ammo, and often only handloads or Match ammo produces results that I would expect of an expensive rifle.
More than a few Sauer 202 rifles have problems with chambers of incorrect size and/or headspacing.
So: My opinion is still: Not really worth the money.
Not at All worth the money if you want an accurate hunting rifle.
